ABOUT THE GREEN ARTS MARKETPLACE

We know that you care about the environment. We also know that you care about delivering high quality projects – delighting audiences, inspiring new ideas and creating unforgettable experiences.

The Julie’s Bicycle Green Arts Marketplace lists top suppliers, freelancers and venues to the creative industries who are committed to good environmental practice.

Each supplier on the marketplace has been independently checked to ensure they meet our criteria as an environmentally responsible business. This means you can search safe in the knowledge that whoever you choose, you will end up with a partner as committed to sustainability as you are.
This is currently a beta site. We will be developing the Green Arts Marketplace over the coming months. If you have any difficulties using the site or find any bugs please do let us know. Report a bug.

USING THE SITE

As an integral part of our community we are relying on you to help us build and improve the database, sharing it with other creative and cultural practitioners, adding to the content and letting us know new features you would like to see. Please use the review and rating function to feedback on the suppliers you use. This allows us and the suppliers to continue developing new ways to make the creative industries greener.

HOW TO GET LISTED AS A SUPPLIER

STEP 1
To be listed on the Green Arts Marketplace, suppliers must demonstrate a minimum level of environmental commitment and action. Each applicant is rated against a set of criteria, looking both at the product/service/venue and the business.

STEP 2
The approval process is undertaken by members of the environmental sustainability team at Julie’s Bicycle. We aim to do this in 10 working days, however during busy periods it may take longer.

STEP 3
You will receive an automatic notification to the email address provided below to let you know if you have been successful or not.

If you are successful and the information provided is of sufficient clarity and quality, your profile will become active straight away therefore please be aware that the information you submit in the application process will become visible to the public (unless stated otherwise).

If you are successful, but the information provided requires some adaptation or clarification, a member of the Julie’s Bicycle team will contact you, before your profile goes live.

The criteria has been specially designed to examine the product, service, venue and the business itself, assessing its environmental credentials. For details of the criteria please contact us.
